Thomas Allen Senior Director of Finance

Thomas Allen is a for-profit company that has provided services to individuals with developmental disabilities for the last 40 years.

LOCATION: West St. Paul, MN. This position is in-person at our corporate office.

HOURS AVAILABLE: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Finance Director will oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of Thomas Allen's financial department supporting and promoting fiscal responsibility.


  • Direct all aspects of accounting operations
  • Oversee all transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Direct supervision and oversight of all employees in the Finance team. Support training and growth.
  • Participate in strategic planning and initiatives related to the long-term profitability and performance of the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in multiple Finance disciplines
  • 5+ years of managerial and leadership experience with professional finance staff
  • Familiarity with Human Service programs, State and County funding
  • Solid working knowledge of financial systems, statements, and reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, CPA, or CMA
