Thomas Allen's Case Management is Hiring a Trainer!

LOCATION: Edina, MN - this position requires travel to all of our case management offices throughout the Twin Cities Metro!

HOURS AVAILABLE:

JOB SUMMARY: The Case Management Trainer is responsible for the provision of quality training to all Case Management (CM) and Managed Care (MC) divisions, ensuring that training is up to date, a reflection of the industry standards, and meets or exceeds all licensing requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Direct and be responsible for the provision of quality training during Standard Orientation, CM and MC specific Session 2 and Annual Training
  • Assess organizational training needs, develop plans to meet those needs, and assure that sufficient training opportunities are provided
  • Develop training that follows company policies and ensures compliance with state, county, and federal regulations
  • Assist with the development of tailored training to meet the specific individual needs of each CM and MC department in partnership with other CM trainers
  • Solicit ideas from Program Directors relating to training needs
  • Solicit and summarize employees' feedback on all training presentations conducted
  • Maintain effective communication with Program Managers to ensure all new staff is receiving required training
  • Coordinate and manage training by securing presenters, advertising training opportunities to the public, managing incoming registration forms and money and ensure proper processing of the same and applying for applicable licensing credits for attendees of training seminars, and ensure completion of attendee certificates
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of an accredited four-year college with a major in social work, psychology, sociology, or a closely related field OR a graduate of an accredited four-year college with a major in any field and one year experience as a social worker in a public or private social service agency; AND maintain licensure by the Minnesota Board of Social Work once license is obtained. Meeting the minimum qualifications of a social worker under the Minnesota Merit System (per Minnesota Rule 9575) may substitute for licensure by the MN Board of Social Work.
