LOCATION: Office in West St. Paul with occasional travel to our offices throughout the Twin Cities

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY: The Computer Systems Administrator is the first line contact for all technical issues. In this position, you will be responsible for 1-on-1 technical troubleshooting and training of all users. You may also manage local area network (LAN) connectivity, including network security, Active Directory, email, and other business accounts.

DUTIES:

  • Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability
  • Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
  • Work with users to train them in proper use and maintenance of computers
  • Troubleshoot software and equipment
  • Maintain telephone system accounts and equipment
  • Work with vendors and consultants as needed
  • Manage sensitive data and comply with data privacy laws, regulations and best practices for managing such data

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or related experience totaling at least 2 years
  • CompTIA/A+ certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a Windows networking environment
  • Windows 7/8/10 Desktop experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Windows networking experience or certification
  • Voice over IP (VOIP or Toshiba phone) experience
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, GPOL administration experience
  • Telecom (e.g. T-1, MPLS) desired
  • Linux desktop experience desired
  • Varied IT experience
  • Network certifications desired
  • Social service experience desired
  • Background clearance
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, written and verbal
  • Driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
