CO - IT - Technical Project Coordinator

Thomas Allen is Hiring a Technical Project Coordinator!

LOCATION:  West St. Paul, MN

HOURS AVAILABLE:  Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY:   In this position, you will be responsible for the administration and management of our Exact Synergy implementation. The successful candidate will coordinate the stakeholder teams, inclusive of planning meetings, regular reporting, coordinate with vendors, and help with application planning and development. They will also be responsible for projects and planning for our Exact Progression and MS Access applications. Should be competent to create and manage customized organic Access apps. Spearhead migration to replace Access if deemed necessary. This position will involve some application development as well as other projects and initiatives

JOB DUTIES:

  • Primary responsibility for managing the Implementation of Exact Synergy
  • Work with HRIS, Case Management, Finance, IT, and other areas to identify and document application requirements
  • Identify and solution plan/system gaps
  • Work with our vendors and IT Department to ensure smooth implementation of software products and services
  • Analysis of data structures in multiple data sources including the use of SQL queries and DDL
  • Assist in the maintenance of MS Access Databases
  • Assist in the maintenance of SQL Server Databases
  • Work with IT director /department on technology initiatives and support for software and users as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Organizational Development, Software Development, or a related field
  • OR, in lieu of degree, must have 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Software Development, Systems Analysis, or Systems design
  • Must be mature, polite, competent, and possess team playing abilities, effective listening skills, and strong overall social and communication skills
  • Experience with MS Access including Access SQL, C#, VBA, VB.Net, and VBScript
  • Experience with MSSQL or substantial experience working with other SQL Flavors
  • Understanding of HRIS systems
  • Understanding of workflow management and workflow systems
  • Understanding of content/document management systems
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and self-directed
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong vision for helping Thomas Allen achieve its mission
  • Ability to perform physical tasks requiring bending at the waist, twisting, lifting, and carrying loads up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Background clearance.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbally.
