Thomas Allen is Hiring a Residential Assistant Program Manager!

JOB SUMMARY: As a Residential Assistant Program Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager in smooth operations of day-to-day activities for the assigned division and ensure that person-centered services are provided to individuals served. Further, you will work to ensure that services are provided in a manner consistent with MN 245D and the Positive Supports Rule.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Completing referral information for new admissions
• Completing assessments and associated paperwork
• Following up on audits
• Participating in assessment meetings and completing associated documentation and paperwork
• Assisting with the development of CSSP-As, and coordinating, attending, and acting as chair at meetings with Support Teams
• Providing and documenting training and coaching of staff on the delivery or services. Analyze and present areas for improvement at team meetings
• Assisting with scheduling duties and finding staff to fill in
• Completing various office tasks, including ordering, records management, updating policy books, keeping current calendars and schedules, communicating with staff, keeping first aid kits up-to-date, and identifying and resolving maintenance issues
• Providing transportation for individuals served to financial institutions, stores, medical offices, jobs, activities, etc.
• Ensuring medications, medical supplies, Standing Order Meds (PRNs), and Bloodborne Pathogen supplies are ordered, in stock, and available for administration. You will also document all meds on the Medication and Treatment Administration Record and in the individuals' Medical Logs
• Planning and leading activities

• Acting as a back-up to the Program Manager, including being on-call 24 hours for phone consultation and shift coverage as needed, emergency on-site intervention, and other events as they arise
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have at least 2 years of full-time experience working in a Community Residential Setting
• Willing to commit to and implement person-centered supports
• Willingness to attend to personal cares and health needs, light housekeeping, and meal preparation
• Must be mature, polite, and possess team playing abilities
• Must possess effective listing skills and strong overall social and communication skills
• Department of Human Services background clearance
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be proficient at High School level in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English to fully communicate with the individuals we serve and staff members, to implement specialized medical and/or behavioral protocols and programming within the home/division, and to document required information
