LOCATION: Office in West St. Paul, MN

HOURS AVAILABLE:

JOB SUMMARY: The Program Director of Subcontracted Services works closely with the Subcontracted Foster Care Providers, Assistant Program Director (APD) and Designated Coordinators in ensuring quality person centered services are provided for service recipients that live with the Foster Care Providers.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Audits
• Provide support in representative payee responsibilities to include serving as back-up and reviewing the bank statements
• Hire, train and supervise Designated Coordinators. Assign Subcontractor support and oversight responsibilities amongst the Designated Coordinators
• Attend service recipient meetings
• Respond to and meet with potential Subcontracted Foster Care Providers
• In partnership with the Subcontracted Foster Care Providers, assist in assessing appropriateness of services and complete the required admission documents
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

1. A bachelor's degree in a field related to human services, and 1 year of full-time work experience providing direct care service to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or
2. An associate's degree in a field related to human services or public relations, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 or older; or
3. A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited post-secondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 or older; or
4. A minimum of 50 hours education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 or older under the supervision of a person who meets the qualifications identified above in item 1) to 3)

• Three years of supervisory experience required
• Ability to utilize computer programs and applications such as word processing, spreadsheets and database management
• Exceptional ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• High-levels of integrity, competency and sense of urgency
• Flexibility and nimbleness in changing environments and situations
• Superior organizational skills
• Department of Human Services background clearance
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally
