CO - TRN - Training Assistant

Thomas Allen is Hiring a Training Assistant!

LOCATION: Office in West St. Paul with some limited travel around the metro area

POSITION SCHEDULE: On-call, may include occasional evening and/or weekends

JOB SUMMARY: As an on-call Training Assistant, you may conduct the following training:

• Standard orientation sessions
• American Red Cross CPR & First Aid certification
• Positive support strategies
• De-escalation and physical intervention techniques
• Other training pertinent to the needs of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Designated Coordinator for Thomas Allen
• Familiarity with MN Statute 245D and Positive Support Rule
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Trained as an instructor in American Red Cross for CPR and First Aid preferred
• Skills with attention to detail, organization, and prioritization preferred
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally
