Thomas Allen is now hiring a Training Director!
LOCATION: Office in West St. Paul, MN
HOURS:
JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Training is responsible for the provision of quality training to all Thomas Allen divisions of services ensuring that training is up to date, a reflection of the industry standards and meets or exceeds all licensing requirements
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Direct and be responsible for the provision of quality training
- Assess organizational training needs, develop plans to meet those needs and assure that sufficient training opportunities are provided for program, support and administrative staff
- Develop the organizational training calendar
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience working for an agency that provides services to persons with developmental disabilities and related conditions
- Must have 2 years of experience in public speaking/training or related public relations
- Maintain First Aid and CPR Instructor Certification
- The ability to work within a team setting demonstrating competence with communicating in oral, computer, written and auditory means possessing strong social and communication skills
- Must be mature, polite, competent, and possess team playing abilities, effective listening skills and strong overall social and communication skills
- Must successfully complete Thomas Allen's Medication Administration training course and prove competency
- Background clearance
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, written and verbally
- Driver's license, reliable vehicle you can use for work purposes, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required
- Willing to drive own vehicle to perform job duties
- Must be at least 18 years of age
